The explosion of techological offerings and eDiscovery related developments can be overwhelming at times as well as being confusing to the consumers and end users.  However, there is a silver lining.  If you pay close attention, you will see how many of the formerly disparate services and applications are becoming more integrated.  Additionally, the interconnectedness of the distinct discliplines of litigations support, records management and various IT divisions are evolving to where there is a great deal of overlap.  Ultimately, the integration of the technologies and the evolution of the disciplines are creating some high performing options for organizations as ideas and methods are blended together.  We have seen this in our practice as we become more familiar with the needs of our large enterprise clients and the available hardware and software components that serve those needs.  Recently, we were awarded the task to install and implement an Symantec Enterprise Vault solution at the Department of Energy Golden Field Office.  The good folks at DOE are a wonderful and talented group to work with and our team of engineers executed the install for hundreds of users on-time, on-budget and without interruption of services.  If you haven't looked at Symantec's Enterprise Vault, it is a great solution for email archiving and worth a look.
