Doc1 was pleased to be on the winning team to provide Information Management Services to the Centers for Disease Control over the next 10 years.  Our team consisted of a handful of small businesses competing with many better known large federal contractors.  At the end of the day, our credentials and capabilities withstood the scrutiny of fourteen months of qualifying and our team was awarded in two of the three disciplines: IT Infastructure and Management Consulting.  Many of our clients over the past near-decade know D1 as a litigation technology firm, so some were surprised to see us win an IT based contract.  CEO of D1, James Crane, emphasized the proven application of technology based solutions as key to the award, "When it is said and done, we are a technology firm.  Most of our work in the early years was related to litigation, but the urgency involved in those types of matters really sharpens your sword with how to develop and implement quality solutions.  When you can make technology work in the intense climate of litigation, you can make it work in nearly any environment."
