Denver's Own Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System

When I travel around the country, I sometimes hear suggestions that all of the real moving and shaking regarding the development of electronic discovery technology and best practices takes place on the coasts.  Without a doubt, many of the thought leaders in the field and many of the larger conferences happen in New York, Los Angeles, D.C., and San Francisco, but those aren't the only places.

As a Denver attorney, I'm proud of the work being done at the University of Denver's Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System.

Beyond being loaded with many talented people, including many good friends, the IAALS offers a variety of great resources with their reports, publications and newsletters.  Additionally, there is a great focus on watching the developing trends and emerging issues with an emphasis on independence, integrity, and a commitment to comprehensive research.  Check out the Institute and watch this group.
